Physio Plus ‘Fix My Friend’ Contest

Work shouldn’t be more painful than it already is! If you have a friend that’s victimized by their office set-up, let Thane from Physio Plus build them back up with the ‘Fix My Friend’ contest – running Monday October 7th to Thursday October 17th! Text ‘fix my friend’ to CKRW, follow the prompt, and tell us why they need an ergonomic intervention. If it’s really bad – please send a photo! The ‘Fix’ is an ‘office ergonomics’ assessment, personalized tips, and an information session from Thane for up to 3 workspaces! The winner will be chosen Friday, October 18th, and will be contacted by the Rush Monday, October 21st! ! Qualifiers must ‘like’ the Rush and Physio Plus on social media to enter.

How Can You Participate?

Submission Period: ‘Fix My Friend’ runs from October 7th to October 17th through text and online submissions at CKRW.com

Eligibility: Participants must be 18 years or older.

Submission Process:

Listeners will be invited to nominate a friend or coworker by texting “FIX MY FRIEND” to the RUSH at 867-667-7891. The text should include a brief description (or picture) of the coworker’s poor ergonomic habits and why they need an ergonomic intervention.  Participants can also enter online at CKRW.com by filling out the ‘Fix My Friend’ form and are encouraged to provide a photo of their friend’s workspace.

Selection Process:

CKRW staff will review the nominations on an ongoing basis and select the most compelling stories. Criteria for selection will include the severity of the ergonomic issues and the potential impact of an ergonomic makeover.

Prize:

Winners will receive a visit from Thane at Physio Plus who will conduct an ergonomic assessment and provide personalized recommendations. Thane will also offer a brief educational session for the office to promote overall ergonomic awareness.

Winner: The ‘Fix My Friend’ winner will be announced Friday October 18^th on The Morning Brew. The station will also reach out to the winners personally.
