A tentative membership was agreed upon by both management and staff at Yukon Arts Centre
WHITEHORSE – A tentative agreement was reached between the Yukon Arts Centre and it’s workers.
Management and Yukon Arts Centre’s staff have reached a tentative agreement however, details on the membership will not be released. A vote and review of the agreement must be completed, and if any proposed contract changes arise, they must also be voted on.
Members of the Yukon Employees Union and the Public Services Alliance of Canada Local Y021 announced the tentative agreement on October 17, 2022.
The YEU stated the small bargaining unit had conducted themselves with outstanding professionalism and they are proud to have walked alongside them in their efforts to achieve a fair and respectful collective agreement.
The YEU also wanted to extend a thank you to Yukoners for their respectful and supportive approach during the labour dispute.
