In the first legislative session since the landslide in Whitehorse that happened over the weekend, the NDP and Official Opposition had some questions for Yukon Liberals.
Leader of the Yukon Party Currie Dixon asked Premier Ranj Pillai if his government will open up the 50 million dollar contingency plan to the city of Whitehorse to deal with the ongoing problem.
Pillai added that the territorial government will continue to be there for Yukon municipalities as the impacts of climate change continue to be more apparent across the territory.
