The Yukon Government progresses toward opening up more land to its residents in Whitehorse
WHITEHORSE – The Yukon Government says successful applicants were contacted regarding their winning draw in the Whistle Bend land lottery.
The Government of Yukon reached a turning point in making more available to Yukoners on April 27, 2023.
Following the release of lots in the Whistle Bend in Whitehorse earlier in the spring, the territorial government is offering 82 single-family lots to applicants through the public lottery.
Four multi-family lots and 33 townhouse lots were offered to successful bidders through the tender process.
Applications were accepted between March 31 and April 18, 2023. Successful applicants were contacted following the draw and bid opening.
This is the first land lottery of 2023 and another is planned later in the spring in Yukon communities.
