More people are working in the Yukon
The unemployment rate in the Yukon has dropped considerably as the economy remains hot.
There were 600 unemployed people in the Yukon in September.
That’s a decrease of 700, or 53.8%, compared to September 2021.
Yukon’s seasonally adjusted employment in September 2022 was 23,500.
That’s an increase of 1,600, or 7.3%, compared to September 2021.
