WHITEHORSE, YT – A section of the North Klondike Highway will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, February 25th, as crews from the Yukon’s Department of Highways and Public Works will be conducting avalanche control work near the Rock Creek and Henderson Corner Subdivisions.
The closure will be in effect at Kilometer 693 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM on Tuesday, February 25th
The Department of Highways and Public Works says crews will be using explosives and loud noises from the blasts are likely to be heard in the surrounding area while the work is carried out.
