Whitehorse, YT – Yukon RCMP are renewing their call for information in the March 2023 double homicide of Benjamin Symington and Michael Bennett in Mayo.
The two men were found dead in the C-6 subdivision on the morning of March 11th. Police believe they were killed several hours earlier.
Investigators are still seeking details about a large truck with a lightbar reportedly seen in the area around the time of the murders.
“We know there are individuals who have not been forthcoming with information, and others who are choosing not to cooperate with police,” said Cpl. John Gillis of the Yukon Major Crimes Unit in a statement. “We are appealing to these people to come forward and speak with police to help provide answers and justice for the family and friends of Ben and Michael.”
