Whitehorse, YT – Whitehorse RCMP have arrested 34-year-old Marcus Hickey in connection with the February 17th robbery at the Edgewater Hotel.
Hickey was located at his downtown residence on February 21st but refused to surrender. Officers contained the area while securing a warrant and he was taken into custody without incident around 9 p.m.
He appeared in court last Saturday and remains in custody until his next court appearance on March 5th.
Hickey faces multiple charges including robbery, disguise with intent, carrying a concealed weapon and breach of probation.
