Whitehorse, YT – Watson Lake RCMP seized over 1.5 kilograms of suspected cocaine during a traffic stop on Friday, December 13th.
The vehicle’s sole occupant, 23-year-old Alberta resident Willy Berg Peters, was arrested and charged with sole possession of cocaine for trafficking. He is scheduled to appear in Watson Lake court on April 8th.
Corporal Curtis Harbor emphasized the seizure’s role in enhancing public safety and reducing drug-related harms in the community.
