Whitehorse, YT – Ottawa Centre MP Yasir Naqvi has apologized for sending constituents a colouring map of Canada that doesn’t include P.E.I. or Yukon.
The map was sent for kids to colour before Canada Day on July 1st.
The map doesn’t feature P.E.I. and there is no border between the Northwest Territories and Yukon. There are also no borders between Quebec and New Brunswick and New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
“We made a mistake. The map is missing PEI and Yukon. My team and I apologize,” Naqvi said on X.
“Please think of it as an interactive map to teach kids our geography, or to start to learn more about these amazing places,” he added
