Local fast-food restaurant provides $8,000 to Special Olympics Yukon
On October 4, Whitehorse Tim Hortons was pleased to present a cheque for $8,042 to Special Olympics Yukon.
The cheque represents the amount raised during September’s popular Smile Cookie Week.
The picture includes: Special Olympics athletes, along with Doug Terry, Owner/Operator of Whitehorse Tim Hortons and members of his staff.
The monies raised goes to support Special Olympics programs across the territory.
